THE LIGHT OF CHRIST BURNS THROUGH THE CLOUDS OF SELF DECEPTION…

“Share your salvation now with him who stood beside you when you were in hell. He is your brother in the light of the world which saves you both.”

This makes me weep, it is so glorious. I completely love this.

The exercise in this lesson, “My grievances hide the light of the world in me”, is like the perfect metaphor for how to address every single thing in life.

All the thoughts we think we think, the perceptions we come at life with on our own, our reactions and judgments, they are the clouds. If we do this example; have a little faith that, like clouds, they only appear dark and heavy and substantial, impenetrable, when in reality, they are mist. We can always move though them to the light within.

The pivotal thing here is the faith part.

But since ‘our’ way doesn’t deliver the promises it makes, why not take the highway to light this lesson offers. Yes? 

We are not being asked to just drop back into the cosmic trust-fall unassisted. Jesus is so cool. He never leaves us comfortless. This is just one example. We all can slip back into our minds and imagine that the darkness is a cloud cover. We can sense that there is light beneath and within. We can nearly taste the mist of the clouds as they brush our cheeks, dissolving in the warmth of our touch.  We can all lighten up taking this inward journey, in trust of the light within. We can feel the light of joy due to our commitment to finding our light and love and truth. Yes?

 So the transfer of training is as simple as doing this anytime we run up against anger, frustration, sadness, weariness, disappointment and the like. Turn inward, take Jesus’ hand, turn on the Holy Spirit lantern and move past the illusion to the truth of who we really are.

From the first time I went through the lessons I felt a sense of relief and welcome when I came to this lesson’s practice. This was a light in itself for me. I followed instructions and I found peace. I immediately claimed this practice as my own and put it in my spiritual toolbox. It is an access point for me to ask for the Holy Spirit to guide me. When I use it, it works.

 I have learned that my brother is my way to salvation. As I recognize the light of Christ in him, I totally see that I too, share his innocence. It is the way of the Atonement, the miracle in action.

This is how I take my place among the saviors of the world. The appreciation I feel for this recognition, gives me no option. There is nothing else I want to do. I am the light of happiness and I light the world along with you. Thank you. I love you.  

KINDERGARTEN OR ADDICTION CLASSROOM~ IT'S ALL LEARNING...

Someone said they learned everything they needed to know from kindergarten. I learned everything I need to learn about this world, from addiction; which is basically, kindergarten.

Let me clarify. Addiction teaches one thing; you are powerless to forces outside yourself. It shows you that if you look outside yourself for what you want or need, what you get is more looking. Nothing outside you satisfies.

You learn that thinking you need something different than what is, triggers a surrender of mind to that idol. Once you think you need it, it factors into everything you do. Until you give up what you think you want for what actually is, whether you realize it or not, your mind is being subtly or blatantly influenced by the getting or addictive mechanism. Without that surrender and total shift of perception into Now, you cannot be present, so you cannot think or feel or respond to what actually is. You are merely playing out a drama of denial and fixation.

So, how is that what I need to learn, you might ask? Flipped upside-down and looked at with the Holy Spirit from above the addiction you see patterns and avenues to show you there is no half way to healing. You are either as God created or you are drunk, sleeping it off…

The thing about having an addiction identity (residual self-image) stored in the body brain is that when given over completely to the Holy Spirit, those same pathways that addiction used, can now be used in training the mind in the contrast.

Let me clarify. Addiction has definable characteristics or symptoms increasingly pronounced as the addiction persists. If you are a slow learner, and take all the advanced classes, there are certain things you will learn.  You learn for instance, how to listen; you listen carefully for the voice for addiction and take direction from it. You learn how to surrender your will to a power greater than yourself. You learn to give yourself over, and let it take you wherever it wants to take you~

You learn to notice the subtle things that either align or don’t align with its purpose. You get to know your mind real well, though much of the time you don’t want to.

Here’s the thing; what has a beginning has an end. You see first hand what nothing looks like; how blatant falseness presents its flimsy promises at high prices. And you learn, too, how willing you are to reach deep into your pockets until the price is paid; only to see the promise fade before you.

At the end of it all, in the pit of the darkness of disassociation, as annihilation ensues, something else inevitable happens. From somewhere deep within, the light of peace begins to spread, enlivening the mind in recognition of the Self that cannot be annihilated.

From within the darkness the light naturally emerges, to be seen because darkness cannot hide; falseness cannot last~ Fear cannot stand. The instant the thought of love is recognized, Love is always left standing…

My point to telling this story is that it is so easy to see how perfect it is; how the Holy Spirit has been steadfastly behind me, bringing me home to the light. When I was ready to forgive what I thought life was, when I saw that I had been wrong about everything, the Holy Spirit reinterprets all my symbols to a meaningful purpose. He now uses those same pathways (cleansed and purified) for the single purpose of salvation.

If I think I have a will apart from God, if some sort of preference or resistance construct shows up, there is the light, the light of forgiveness, right in the deep stillness of my mind, being powered by Source.

I burn through the barrier to loves awareness and get on with shining the light of gratitude for my brothers.

What was once the programming of the addiction matrix becomes reprogrammed as a forgiveness matrix. Once seen in the light of understanding, I see how those programs are being redirected to joy, toward the goal of truth.

I use your ability to listen and take direction, to listen to the Voice of God. I surrender my will to a Greater Will and lay aside judgments. I ask only for what is meaningful for the purpose of Atonement, and go willingly wherever He would have me go.

Trust develops naturally as one continually places ones faith in His direction. Alignment with the Atonement principle becomes increasingly fine-tuned.

Where I was so personally familiar with my powerlessness and aloneness, I see that alone I can do nothing, because alone I am nothing. We are not, and could not be alone. Wholeness has no separate parts. I have come to realize that I am as God created just as I recognize my brother is myself.

Self evaluation turns over in favor of God evaluation .Mastery in the art of denial is turned toward denying anything not of God as real; denying the denial of truth.

 I accept the Atonement for myself, and heal the whole Sonship as I let Him teach me to heal.…

Joy abounds for the happy learner and teacher for God.

In those 50 lessons, in sixty days, you literally shed the skin of self you knew when you started 60 days ago. You are brand new.

A newborn world lies before us now. We are its ministers. We are the miracle workers that light the world with God’s Love.

Can you feel it?

I am completely in love with the statements that wrap-up the section we just went through.

“I am sustained by the Love of God. As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love. As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see. As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless. And as I look upon he world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son.”

 

That’s where we launch today from. Brand new in mind, it is simple to follow that we are, indeed, the light of the world. So here’s the mantra:

I am the light of the world.

That is my only function.

That is why I am here.

 

 As we awaken the whole world awakens, since the world was never more than a misperception. As perception becomes whole, the single mind sees only wholeness.

Today we are ready to see with Inner Vision. We are at realizing that "physical sight" was merely an illusion of being in the dark.

The Light has come and it is time…

“The end is sure and guaranteed by God…You are a stranger here. But you belong to Him Who love you as He love Himself. Ask but my help to roll the stone away, and it is done according to His Will. And then let us arise and go in faith along the way to Him…”

HIGH BEAM~ ON! ~ MIRACLES ARE SEEN IN LIGHT...

I am surrounded by miracles.

Today was one of those days where gorgeous people around me, were calling me to share their miracle; epiphanies, insights, breakthroughs… Like I said~ MIRACLES.

One fabulous brother, a man of pure integrity, called to tell me that in the midst of his wife telling him she was moving out, he was moved inwardly. Rather than resist, ask for explanations, or whatever defense might want to arise, he rose up, above the battlefield. He simply asked the Holy Spirit to take over. He said, “This is it. This is what it is all about. In an instant when the possibility of defense right in hand, I was able to choose peace instead. I was able remain the truth of who I am and truly be actually helpful. I listened and remembered neither she nor I were the story, but kept my focus on the love we are instead.

Isn’t that awesome?

Miracles are natural. When we aren’t experiencing them, something has gone wrong.

Another dazzling brother, a dedicated and devoted women called to tell me of her recognition of her guiltlessness while recognizing it in her ex… She told me she had two amazing epiphanies.

1.      I can’t do it wrong. I’ve never done it wrong. What is, is what is.

2.      I am not alone. I have never been alone. I could never be alone. There are always others along the path to help along the way.

These are the lights the Holy Spirit turns on in our minds that reveal the path before us… the path before us. Just that, too; just this we find before us now. And that is just perfect; just enough to keep our focus on God: to keep our eye single, and shine our light.

MIRACLE!

I just got off the phone with a brother, a dynamic and stunning, vividly alive friend whom I haven’t seen or spoken with for several years.

I knew to call her.  Miracle-prompt.

Yet, we had an absolutely astonishing conversation about truth, living in true integrity, thinking in honestly and not mistaking ‘appropriate’ emotion-for-circumstance, but rather turn inward and allow the peace of God to spread the warm blanket from heart to hand…

What appeared to be a lover’s death by overdose, turned out to be a story; that when undone, left only the love that was exchanged ~Spirit in a state of grace forever.

See, MIRACLES!!!

Ah, bright and shiny beam… I’ve had the brights on all day… Miracles are seen in light… I see smiles and miracles everywhere I look.

 I love it!

I love you!

THE GOD/LOVE HOMEBASE IS ALWAYS TRANSMITTING A PURE SIGNAL~ Are you tuned in?

Love is always transmitting: The Holy Spirit within our minds is the pure translator-station.

Love is. Love is the nucleus. God is Love. Love is where God is. God is where Love is. I am where God is. I am where Love is. Love is where I am. I am love.

Love is not something extra we add to a situation or relationship we bring the situation or relationship into the love that we are.

Love has its way; every moment of everyday. It is relentless with its presence. It compels all with in its frequency. Its reaches are limitless; giving all to all, inexhaustibly.

Upon awaking, there is Love, already, burning life in heart and belly, delivering light to mind and sight to eyes.

Love expands at the speed of light, energy moving limbs and actions into the original day within and before, reaching out touching everyone in mind and path.

I am tuned-in. Withdrawing belief in fear in favor of Love, zeros one into Love’s frequency. Withdrawing belief in illusions in favor of truth through the systematic mind training by the Holy Spirit is intended for this direct experience of God, of Love, of Heaven, Now. Here’s where I like to operate; at the frequency of love. Which is the same frequency Jesus can be found.  And incidentally, it is where I find you, my brothers.

Joyously, gratefully I join you there. Tune in.

 

LISTEN AND LOVE...

I love God. I am learning to hear only His Voice. It’s like listening through a translator for the language of tongues.  So everything my brother’s say is some expression of love… My job is to listen only for that.

When the goal of purpose is singular, which is God, it re-establishes the premise within the mind. Then everything shifts on its axis. The entire experience of the dream becomes a watching from mind, an experience as the dreamer of the dream. And though bodies and things animate within the dream, one is awake to the fact of being the dreamer. As consistency of choice remains steady, each encounter within the dream is brought into the touchstone of truth where it’s assimilation into the whole of love, is accepted as inevitable.

One can only see from the premise assigned by God. It is NOW! It is only Now where God speaks to His Son though the Holy Spirit within mind. It is the Eternal Now; outside the construct of time and space, where communication has never ceased... NOW: unending present peace ~ the presence of God ~ where stillness and quiet are the language of the day and calm extends…forever, now. It speaks the experience of certainty already completed ~ of love all encompassing… where stresses “need not be”…

We can’t leave this Mind~ it is not of our making. Though imagination has tried to pretend a scenario “apart”, this quiet haven will not go away. Haven’t you noticed? Every time you turn around, turn inward, there it is ~ “The Kingdom of God is within ~ the Kingdom of God IS”… and God is the experience of communication. Receiving is my job. Tune-in and God speaks to me always, already now…

As various needs and problems seem to arise throughout the day, we see our special flavor of attachments and aversions, which merely are an attempt to disguise the underlying belief in scarcity. When tuned to the Holy Spirit frequency, those specialties then become the backdrop to forgive; shine the light and happily fulfill the function given us by God.

Now, this can appear much sketchier than I am making out, I know.  The ego puts out a diverse procession of requirements (Hierarchy of needs). It’s trick and slight of hand is to get you to look without at what it is displaying, so you’ll loose your perspective of premise and forget you’re not really here and that the seeming problem appearing is for the purpose of remembering where the solution lies; within the mind, with the Holy Spirit’s perception of abundance inherent in who we are.

 As we consistently choose His guidance and Purpose all specific needs are resolved, often without our even realizing it at the time. The idea of needs eventually dissolves into a single awareness of love, as all the tentacles of scarcity are released and forgiven.

Everything that appears on the stage of life has but one origin. It is an authority issue. It is not past. The past is, well, past. It is nowhere. The problem is a present decision to usurp the power of God. It is the present decision to author oneself. It is merely confusion of identity and has absolutely  nothing to do with the myriad forms and issues that seem so important to solve in the world.

We are training our minds to determinately look and listen within, to fine-tune to the Voice of Reality; to trust, to love, to truth… It is totally opposite in every way to the way the ego has it hard-wired. But the Holy Spirit will systematically rewire the system according to our willingness and trust. Subsequently, we learn to rely only on the truly reliable. And God’s Will is what is reliable. We come to recognize our total dependence on God with infinite gratitude fuelling our being.

We can lean back and trust for the Voice for God is always communicating exactly what we need to hear…I LOVE IT!

The Song of Prayer, all of which is so beautiful, comes to mind. Here is the passage running through my mind right now:

 “The secret of true prayer is to forget the things you think you need… in prayer you overlook you specific needs as you see them, and let them go into God’s Hands. There they become your gifts to Him, for they tell Him that you would have no gods before Him; no love but His. What could his answer be but your remembrance of Him? Can this be traded for a bit of trifling advice about a problem of an instant’s duration? God answers only for eternity. But still all little answers are contained in this… there is nothing to ask because there is nothing left to want.”

Isn’t that so yummy! That is the zero point of perfect peace and all of the recent lessons have been leading us to the mind-trust-fall into it: this moment, the present moment, the only one~ the presence of God. It is the joyous totality of now, where form is irrelevant. It has been replaced with the certainty of love’s inevitability.

I love keeping it simple.

I am the light of the world.

Whatever is happening is for the purpose of saving the world.

Why resist? Love is … Recognition of this one fact is inevitable.

GOD IS MY SOURCE. I CANNOT SEE APART FROM  HIM

DON'T YOU LOVE IT WHEN SOMEONE BLESSES YOU WITH A SMILE OR KIND GESTURE? YES! IT IS OUR NATURE TO BLESS...

People love it when you are doing this lesson. They see the look of sincerity in your eyes and your determination to see the light in them and see them blessed and happy.

On some deep level they recognize themselves as the very light you are extending.

It’s a beautiful thing.

“This idea contains the first glimmerings of your true function in the world, or why you are here. Your purpose is to see the world through your own holiness. Thus are you and the world blessed together. No one loses; nothing is taken away from anyone; everyone gains through your holy vision. It signifies the end of sacrifice, because it offers everyone his full due. And he is entitled to everything, because it is his birthright as a Son of God…”

So, there you have it!

If you were looking for your purpose, there it is!

For years I just wanted to “find my purpose in life”; took seminars, did therapy, education, yada yada… You know, we’ve all done it.

And here it is in black and white. The Course is uncompromising.

My purpose is to see the world through my own holiness.

This is how I shine as the light of world. I bless you with my holiness by seeing the light in you. And recognizing that light is mine and we are one.

Jesus shows us the direct route. He says there is a spark of light in every one of us. No one is excluded. So our job is super simple.

Look around. Whatever your eyes light upon, Bless it.

You can feel the love you have within, just by the act, yes?

Now whatever brother you come upon, know he is your savior and that as you bless him with holiness you will recognize his light and your wholeness.

This is our salvation. I love it!

I bless you with my holiness, and receive you gifts of holiness, now.

MOVIN' IN JOY~THE NEW PERSPECTIVE

Love is only perspective that gives happiness. Because it is the joyful perspective.

God’s Will for us is perfect happiness. What does not bring joy, is not of God.

The ego, or the joyless perspective is not seeing at all. It is the addictive regurgitation of the separation, and attack God and on ourselves.

Let me give a common example. 

You’re driving down the freeway and singing away to ‘The Beatles’, say. Traffic starts to slow… things start feeling like slow motion. You can see flashing ambulance lights.

What do you do?

Let’s be honest here.

Do you start getting agitated, feeling personally violated, blaming whatever driver that seems the slowest and unconscious? Does a little gory fascination fantasy start running in your mind, wondering how many people got hurt and how bad~ sorta looking forward to checking it out?

… That’s how the ego operated. It’s got the personality on rote. This keeps us from seeing what’s really going on. Keep us from checking with our Source as to what is going on. What it is for and how we could be helpful.

What’s going on is a call for love and healing. This could look a lot of different ways in form. We are looking to content now. The form is not what’s real here. The unification of the purpose of love is.

Do you check within at your love wheel as to how you can be helpful? Do you see the slowing in traffic as more time with ‘The Beatles’ and sing away? Do you bless all the drivers with love and smiles?  Do you trust your brothers and the Holy Spirit and forgive any contractions that arise?

There is another way of looking at the world…

Today is moving day for my family and me. We’ve been having a ball.

The whole experience has been a witness for me of a shift in perspective.

As I have said here before, I was resisting living where I am and allowed a preference to live somewhere else to fog my mind. I could tell by the way I felt that my premise for viewing was off. I felt listless and living in limbo… the raging joy was missing.

Once I saw it for the detour into hell that it was, I CHANGED MY MIND!

The world changed with it! The world literally shifted on its axis and everyone in it shifted…

I found this absolutely perfect yummy house in just the perfect location. Everyone in the family loves it! From there, everything has gone like clockwork. It’s awesome! The boys said that doing the whole move thing was like being on a TV show like survivor or amazing race…

Love and a unified purpose of joy is fueling it.

There is another way of looking at the world…

LIGHTEN UP! QUIT HOLDING YOUR BREATH, AND LAUGH A LITTLE~ JOIN IN THE BIG COSMIC BELLY LAUGH…

“Into eternity, where all is one, there crept a tiny mad idea, at which the Son of God remembered not to laugh. In his forgetting did the thought become a serious idea, and possible of both accomplishment and real effects.

Together, we can laugh them BOTH away, and understand that time can NOT intrude upon eternity. It IS a joke to think that time can come to circumvent eternity, which MEANS there is no time.” (T-27.9)

I love to laugh. I love to lighten any room in the joy that comes with joining in a good laugh. Laughter is the best medicine. Here’s how I know.

I used to take my life so freaking serious. I took healing serious; for you and for me. I took the Course serious. And all my seriousness reinforced the problem.

Let me see if I can shed some light here… I had in my mind that there was a problem to be solved.

I know the Course says it over and over: ONE PROBLEM ~ ONE SOLUTION!

Still I kept trying. This really boils down to attempting to bring the truth to illusion.

I had to get out of time and space. Period. So I could see the obviousness of what was right before my eyes. Alone, my eyes could not see. Like the forest for the trees, I needed a true vantage point from which to see truly. Here is where Jesus takes the hand that is willing to be led…

For me, it was a matter of recognizing that I could not establish survival on my own behalf in this world. I had give up my futile attempt at one-uping God. I was a failure at it. I had to recognize that the world of my making was designed to fail.

For what possible purpose, you might ask. 

Failure is the new success!

In my failure to seriously make life work, I lost all stability in my perception.

And there I still was. This message came to me:  “I am and will always be!”

I had to laugh! And keep laughing… everywhere I look, I see myself. I am in the Mind that created me. 

 The secret of salvation is but this: That YOU are doing this UNTO YOURSELF…For you would not react at all to figures in a dream you knew that YOU were dreaming. Let them be as hateful and as vicious as they may, they COULD have no effect on you, unless you failed to recognize it is YOUR dream. This single lesson learned will set you free from suffering, WHATEVER form it takes.

The Holy Spirit will repeat this ONE inclusive lesson of deliverance, until it has been learned 

Forgiveness is the great release of time.

The whole direction of A Course in Miracles is aimed at dis-identifying with the body and recognizing oneself AS A MIND.  Jesus is speaking to our awareness and very deliberately directing our minds to sync with God.

In order to accomplish this sync, I entirely refuse to see what is not there. If it isn’t love, it is a block to love’s awareness. The remedy is forgiveness.

Accept today’s lesson wholeheartedly and you rise above the battleground and recognize Heaven already present.

I accept 100% responsibility for what I see. I decide to see NO VICTIMS and in their place the call for love and healing is revealed.

As long as I am attached to anything in this physical world, I was vulnerable to the victim lie and stuck in time and space. By deciding with the Holy Spirit for purpose, I am transported out of time and space constructs, and into purpose and into Heaven, where the impossibility of victims is seen.

Let’s look at this logically. How could I be a victim of something I made myself and have all power over its existence? And why would I want to? It’s crazy. But that’s thing isn’t it. This world is insane.

LIGHTEN UP! This world is insane and when we identify with it; bodies, personalities, etc, we are insane. But here’s the reason to rejoice and be glad:

WE ARE NOT A VICTIM OF THE WORLD WE SEE~

WE ARE STILL AS GOD CREATED US…

It is your declaration of release: Read the lesson. Do what it says….

It’s very specific. It shows that our outer world is identical to our inner world. The world we see is a reflection of the thoughts we hold in our mind about ourselves and the world. Today is a loosing and release from the self-made prison.

Remind yourself that you are making a declaration of independence in the name of your own freedom. And in your freedom lies the freedom of the world.

 The comes a point in the mind-training with A Course in Miracles, when you quit arguing with the difficult concepts… like that even the slightest weariness is attacking your invulnerability, and the slightest frustration with a brother is murder. You cop to it all, 100%, and see that they are all the same… God or no God; Truth or falsehood, Heaven or hell.

The most amazing thing happens when you actually let yourself go unrestrained into the unknown darkness of the mind you made; past the dark mists of identity emotions like guilt and of shame and hatred and aloneness… they dissipate into an awareness of falsity. Your mind turns out to actually be blank. And you’re still standing. In the recognition of the total falsity of that belief structure, the Atonement shines the light of forgiveness throughout the Mind. There is no way around it~ It’s a required course. This awareness is inevitable~

You see that there really is nothing NOT to love. You see that it is all a dream.

You become extremely happy! Everything makes sense. Nothing means anything, cuz you’re still exactly where you always were, in the Mind of God.

This is my experience. I am looking at a dream that already found its happy ending.  This is joy. Nothing can go wrong here, you can’t do it right, and you can’t do it wrong. It’s already been done.

Awake or asleep… there’s the choice. Think with God or don’t think at all.

 This makes everything really fun.

Think honestly what you have thought that God would NOT have thought, and what you have NOT thought that God would have you think. Search sincerely for what you have done and left undone accordingly. And then change your minds to THINK WITH GOD'S

There it is, in black and white…Instruction. Walk across the room and turn on the light… THINK WITH GOD = SEE WITH GOD.

 I am 100% committed to think with God.

 I am looking from within and extending love unto the world. This is the light switch..

GOD IS IN EVERYTHING I SEE BECAUSE GOD IS IN MY MIND…    

This lesson is the light switch and God’s love of all creation is the electricity. Practicing and applying the lessons is walking over to the switch and turning on the light. It is the deliberate, active participation with creation. it is the mind-training that enables the natural generalization and transfer of training into our whole lives.

See with God. Think with God. Know thyself.

This lets the Light shine and reflects God’s Love for His creation and my love for mine…

Today we are trying to use the new kind of projection. We are not attempting to get rid of what we do not like by seeing it outside. Instead, we are trying to see in the world what is in our minds, and what we want to recognize is there. Thus we are trying to join with what we see, rather than keeping it apart from us. That is the fundamental difference between vision and the way you see.

I love it! look within on love first, then shine that love, happily joining with everything in perfect peace.

GOD IS... NOW!

I LOVE LOOKING AT GOD.

GOD IS IN EVERYTHING I SEE.

Here is what I came to realize through my commitment to follow Jesus on the path appointed me, A Course in Miracles. Seeing God is a present moment experience. It is not a function of the physical eyes. It is, however, the purpose of the physical eyes in this world, used as a communication device for the Love of God. The alignment with purpose is the authoritative directive. 

It is only the identification with a set of ideas (ego) which are in competition with the Real, or God, that pulls the wool over our eyes, denying the truth. This identity shows us our stories of trying to see, while attempting to ensure its own survival.

 For me, it starts with the commitment to see as God would have me see, above all else.

Try this little exercise for fun. It works for me:

Take a look at what is in front of you; these words, that face, those hands, the chair you’re sitting on… Now, close your eyes and shake off the images you just saw. Toss out every idea you have of what you thought you saw, every judgment and evaluation perception showed you, and open your mind.  Feel the love that remains beneath and within.

Now, look again. See, God is right there in front of you, in the paper, your hands, the cat, the wall... God can't be missed. 

It is Christ within that does the looking for us. We just do what the lesson tells us to do.

It is as simple as that. I clear my mind and be present here, now. It is His Presence that does the seeing for me. God is all there is. Everything else is a dream.  Wake up now and see! This is the invitation of today’s lesson.

This is the only time. And today’s lesson invites us to experience God, now!

I finally realized that there is no future moment, when I’ll be more prepared... The future never happens. Everything happens now. The experience I'd  been waiting for happens right now … 

God is in everything I see.

Whether we accept the invitation or not, God is in each and everything we see. It couldn’t be anything else. We’re looking at God when we look at the inanimate as well as our children, friends and strangers. God is every one of them. He is in every thing and every moment and a beyond.

God is in everything...

He’s everywhere. Look and see. Doesn’t that feel right? Like Love is in the air...Like everything is perfect now. 

It’s absolutely enlivening, isn’t it?

That’s the experience of God.

Today’s lesson says: “Try to begin to learn to look on all things with love, appreciation, and open-mindedness.”

I love this idea, why not love everything? It just feels better. And it improves your sight taboot.

God is in everything I see, in you and me…

PERSONAL DELUSION OR THE FACE OF CHRIST: The art and science of seeing…

Above all else I want to see this differently.

Here’s my life.

I see things differently. I see them differently than I did yesterday. I see things differently than I did last month, last year, a decade ago, than I did in my childhood.

The question is how open my mind is.

I am in Heaven. Right now.

From here, everything looks basically the same; a bunch of forms shimmering in the light of love.

Then there are the times when I find myself smack-dab in a personal story, and actually believing for a minute that it matters.

The thing about a wholehearted commitment to follow Jesus and learn the skill set of A Course in Miracles is that I am never more than an instant away from recognizing the classroom for what it is. Forgiveness is always at the ready, lighting the back of my mind. I forgive the personal delusion I place in front of the face of Christ and trust vision to reveal the truth.

There is only love. This I know. This world is a world of perception. Period.  There are no classifications; right or wrong, good or bad. They are exactly the same~ false. Only the truth is true. What I perceive doesn’t matter. It is what I perceive with that does. I set the goal at the beginning and decide to look upon the face of Christ.

I love the classroom analogy. I am on a mission from God.  My life is the classroom where I, taking direction from my teacher, apply the lessons to whatever seems to happen. None of it matters. It is a curriculum.

If you don’t take it personally, you can just take direction. Curriculum isn’t personal. It is a means to an end.

Here’s a case in point for you. When I was in college taking psychology courses and learning about diagnosis and mental illness, whatever particular disorder we were learning about, I met the criteria. I began to think, “OMG, I have a borderline personality disorder. I’m totally narcissistic. I am obsessive-compulsive…what the bleep do I think I’m doing becoming a therapist?”

Then my instructor told us that everybody displays some of these characteristics. And I was like, “whew”, and let it go.

See, now that’s all we have to do with the ‘disorder’ we call our personal life, our perceptual world. LISTEN TO OUR INSTRUCTOR and quit taking it personally.

I am only light.

You and I are One Love united in our Creator.
