IF LOVE IS THE ANSWER~
WHAT’S THE QUESTION?
Honestly; love completes itself, so what is there to question. What is there to want or need, in that Love is everything forever?
Whenever I have been angry, frustrated, disappointed or held a grievance of any kind, once investigated honestly, I have seen that beneath whatever injustice I had associated with that person or situation, I found I was ashamed of myself such that it was intolerable for me to hold responsibility for creating the situation. I did not love and I could not bear the bare fact of my lovelessness.
Every time. Forgiveness is the only remedy. I see my mistaken association with my self-concept and recognize that I could not be my Self. I see that what I have laid over my brothers
Is there anything lovelier than the perfect love? Love really does run the show.
I am overwhelmed; right now, with the gratitude I call my life. Ah, but to fulfill my function and light the world with the joy that comes with an aligned unified purpose of salvation. I will but to live the demonstration that I have accepted God’s Will for perfect happiness through accepting the Atonement for my Self.
Love is the theme. And quite frankly, love is always the theme, yes?
Just a few more thoughts in gratitude for an experience of love so real it cannot be described… Yet, something prompts expression…
Love is whole, full, complete, totality. Love is the divine experience of the eternal. It is changeless and for all time, everywhere. Love is God, Mind, Self. It is known only by experience. Yet it is the experience of undenialbility.
Love being One, has no opposite.
God is Love. And Love is God
Not only is this our inheritance. It is all that is; all that we are.
Love created me like itself. And love can only be what it is, knowing only itself. There is no fear in love. Where God is, there is no other. Love is one
Love can be but Itself and knows only Itself. Love and fear, God and the world, have no meeting point. The awareness of One implies the nonexistence of the other.

If have been showing up each day and merely taking direction, you have chosen yourself to be on Jesus’ crew. You have answered the call. Can’t you feel it? You’re not alone…. There are mighty companions along side you. You have a sense that you know, somewhere inside, Who walks with you… Yes?!
In those 50 lessons, in sixty days, you literally shed the skin of self you knew when you started 60 days ago. You are brand new.
A newborn world lies before us now. We are its ministers. We are the miracle workers that light the world with God’s Love.
Can you feel it?
I am completely in love with the statements that wrap-up the section we just went through.
“I am sustained by the Love of God. As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love. As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see. As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless. And as I look upon he world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son.”
That’s where we launch today from. Brand new in mind, it is simple to follow that we are, indeed, the light of the world. So here’s the mantra:
I am the light of the world.
That is my only function.
That is why I am here.
As we awaken the whole world awakens, since the world was never more than a misperception. As perception becomes whole, the single mind sees only wholeness.
Today we are ready to see with Inner Vision. We are at realizing that "physical sight" was merely an illusion of being in the dark.
The Light has come and it is time…

“The end is sure and guaranteed by God…You are a stranger here. But you belong to Him Who love you as He love Himself. Ask but my help to roll the stone away, and it is done according to His Will. We have begun the journey…Be now afraid. We only start again an ancient journey long ago begun…upon a road we traveled on before and lost our way a little while. And now we try again. Our new beginning has the certainty the journey lacked till now…Look up and see His Word among the stars, where He has set you Name along wit His… and find you certain destiny…Let us wait here in silence, and kneel down an instant in our gratitude to him Who called to us and helped us hear His Call. And then let us arise and go in faith along the way to Him…”

God, You are my One Source; my Only Goal, my Purpose and Meaning. May every voice but Yours be still in me. May the Holy Spirit which lights my mind help me remember my only purpose here is the salvation of the world; to shine with joy and teach only love, to forgive and see things differently, to give of myself as You give, and to be truly helpful. May I remember to keep the eternal light of Heaven burning brightly, shining forth for all to see and enter here, together, the arc of peace, into the gates of Heaven, now...
This world is false. Whatever the body’s eyes look on is false. It doesn’t matter if it is seemingly ‘good’ or if it seems awful. It’s not real. So there’s no point in trying to ‘fix’ or ‘change’ anything. This is what the Course means by ‘tragic in time’. Trying to affect our peace of mind by manipulating situations, events, people, even thoughts, won’t work.
The world is false. There is no power in it. It is a projection of images outward from a story in the mind. The script for the story of separation has been written... That instant the Atonement was given. The Atonement undid it in that very instant. When we accept the Atonement for ourself, instantly the mind is tuned to the frequency of Spirit, now reflecting a corrected version of rhe world story: the forgiven or real world…
So the only choice, the only chance at change in the world, is to let go the world we see in favor of vision. This takes place in the mind. The alignment with Spirit activates the power of the mind to the correction principle, healing miscreation by healing misperception.
So it is to the mind we must go, requesting the Holy Spirit as reinterpreter and guide, surrendering all we thought we knew and forgiving it as false, in favor of the truth.
Everything in the world is designed to take attention away from God.
That is its purpose.
The Miracle is designed to zero attention on God. Accepting our brothers as our saviors, we see we are one Mind of one Spirit, of One Source.
We bring our thinking under Jesus' guidance... A Course in Miracles is His gift to us, which is a commplete thought reversal curriculum that systematically trains our minds to return our attention to God. Through the function of forgiveness of the false, we are literally training our minds on Spirit .. Forgiveness is the most powerful tool at our disposal. It is the fast-track to the peace of Heaven Now.
Forgiveness literally realigns the mind to correction and the miracle can do what it does, collapsing time, visiting charity upon forgiver and forgiven. It virtually lifts us from the structure of time/space we were in before and drops us back in to a healed perspective that it is impossible to measure from within the perspective of the problem, well, because it is a miracle and we simple can’t understand it from within the time/space construct.
So, say for instance, I am on a seemingly direct path to destruction, say with booze, (go figure), or a destructive relationship... You know one.
Then, say I ask for a miracle and give over my life to deity. I literally die to that place and time life. The Holy Spirit picks me up and drops me into a time and space further on in my correction learning curriculum, that is appropriate for healing now. In other words, an experience totally unavailable to me, had I stayed the course I was on without accepting the miracle. The miracle, the Course tells us, saves ‘thousands of years’ that correction would have taken otherwise.

Yes, I said Gratitude List.
One thing I have learned is that making gratitude lists instead of ‘to-do’ lists, gets a lot more accomplish and keeps being truly helpful at the forefront of my mind. Whereas making ‘to-do’ lists accomplishes nothing at all. It is a delay tactic of future-izing the past and making someone, usually myself, feel guilty. I’m sure you know what I mean.
So, how about it? Start making a gratitude list whenever you start thinking you need to make a to-do list. Everything will change. Gratitude places you at the disposal of the miracle. Watch the world eclipse in its light.

5. I am grateful for willingness
6. I am grateful for the transformation of my mind through forgiveness.

8. I am grateful for peace, now, and love always, in all ways.
9. I am grateful to see my brother guiltless and see his innocence shine.
10. I am grateful, for developing the habit of engaging with God.
11. I am grateful to have God as my only goal.
12. I am grateful I live serenely in a state of deep abiding joy; to live in freedom and happiness and clarity and right-minded willingness.
13. I am grateful to accept my appointment as a teacher of God and count myself amongst the ministers of God and the saviors of the world.

Let me bless you with a story about the light of the world:
Last night I read a memoir of my father’s life in mind… What I mean is that he shares his belief structure and development over a lifetime of more than 80 years. He describes his willing in-doctrine-ization into the thought system of his familial and religious structure; the specifics and ‘specia’l-izations inherent to it. He shares his beliefs, interpretations, acceptances, justifications, denials and faithfulness.
The story is a good one; well researched and well written. It is an honest account of one man’s life, written from the perspective Self-love; from one who has faced himself; evaluated the true from the false and forgiven all that didn’t meet the criteria of peace.
I found reading this account compelling and healing. Also very intimate. I experienced the joining that comes with absolute faithfulness, meeting brother to brother in the truth of Who God created as Himself.
As I read along the path my father described, I experience myself reading as if from his own perspective, like I was in his mind, watching his movie of his life perspective…
Then, in a holy instant I fused with him as Christ, united in the purpose of the recognition of the truth. His story was my story. His mind, my own...
Dad tells how he began to ask of himself the honest, the real questions deep within about life and God and self. He asked for the truth. And the path was set.
Turns out the Holy Spirit is hanging out in the ether of the walls and shelves and words and minds in the BYU library, just as everywhere else, available by sincere asking, and asking honestly.
My father then shares the progression of this internal inquiry. He proceed to show how his honest request led him to A Course in Miracles and to the curriculum that would reinterpret and give meaning to his purpose in life. His gratitude for the forgiveness, miracles and healing received by accepting the Atonement for himself, is obvious and cannot be missed as it gives light to the glorious gratitude that praises God…
I experienced the lifting-out of the construct of world and story into the shared, healed perspective of one-mind which forgiveness reveals… Gratitude and grandeur and beauty and magnitude spilt tears of appreciation and joy and light and love and blessed the world, as I finished reading… yum.
Thanks Dad for your integrity and your willingness; for forgiving, sharing and joining. Thanks for lighting my mind and every mind and saving the world.

The Course is relentless in reminding us that there is no world so not to look to it for truth. Look to it for the false veil we have drawn across the face of Christ and the Real world.
Don’t ever forget~ the world we are looking upon, without exception, is reflecting what we believe we are. It reflects the image made of the self by the mistaken identity construct of the mind; which is by definition an attack/victim image, which is actually an attack on what God created perfect as Himself. This is the same as to say it is an attack on God, who, being only love cannot attack or be attacked. In other words, we are to ourselves a case of mistaken identity
No worries…
What is not true is but illusion and illusion has no subsistence in the truth. This is the code of the Atonement; that false will not stand.
An image will never satisfy, will always fall short, want more, and betray the ones it claims to love… yada yada yada… Well, you know the drill. You’ve rehearsed it for millennia. Miracles reveal a different Self, one already complete, healed and whole, joined in purpose with all creation, and one in God.
When the choice for truth is made this world is seen as the flimsy overlay on the overhead-projector of Christ Mind, and recognized as merely false.
“It is but the first few steps along the right way that seem hard, for you have chosen, although you still may think you can go back and make the other choice. This is not so. A choice made with the power of Heaven to uphold it cannot be undone. Your way is decided. There will be nothing you will not be told, if you acknowledge this… and so you and your brother stand, here in this holy place, before the veil of sin that hangs between you and face of Christ. Let it be lifted! Raise it together with your brother, for it is but a veil that stands between you…and peace has reached you even here, before the veil. Think what will happen after. The love of Christ will light your face, and shine from it into a darkened world that needs the light. And from this holy place He will return with you, not leaving it nor you. You will become His messenger, returning Him unto Himself… Think of the loveliness that you will see, who walks with Him! …” (T-22. IV)
Give over your life to the Holy Spirit, bring all of your decisions under Jesus’ guidance and join us at the branching of the road as we lift the veil of falseness together. The light is on… you can see the lighthouse from there… just look and you will see ~above all else you want to see…

I accepted the Atonement for myself… The world; its people, myself/life, shifted on its axis and spun into eternity.
Right here, right now, this moment, this holy instant of eternity... join me in the mighty crusade …Will you?
It is inevitable. We, who never left our source, will return the mind to its up-right position… The players seemingly are the same, but the game is different. Everyone is in it to win together and no one can be left behind. Each relationship is seen as the holy moment of full healing, now. Whether it’s my turn to play, or I am witnessing the exchange of brothers, all is seen as the Self; potent and powerful and healing. My senses are fine-tuning to subtle nuances of love presence… its coin spinning on its edge of extension and request... healing both parties.
I don’t know how I didn’t see it for the longest time, looping back into the unreal… But suddenly it was so simple. I can’t believe I didn’t see it. Save it to say, that vision revealed the unreality of conflict to me.
I don’t know what your particular gig is. A major teaching device for me was a construct called alcoholism. In that curriculum, I learned that there was no compromise in choosing. It is all or nothing. You can’t think about drinking in any form and not be signing in for the next class. There are some trains of thought you just don't get on. Ones like drinking, that you don't even look at the 'travel brochure, for... You train your mind not to go there. You deny it passage. I learned what it means to deny the power of anything not of God to hurt me. I learned to look past error to the truth of God’s creation; to deny fear and accept love.
Duh! How could I not have seen the simple generality of the training to the entire ego-thought system, right then, from the application to alcoholism, directly to everything… hard head!
Then Bing! There it was/is…
Deny anything that is not of God as real… Deny the ability of anything not of God to affect you. This is the proper use of denial. It is not used to hide anything, but to correct error. It brings all error into the light, and since error and darkness are the same, it corrects error automatically.
True denial is a powerful protective device. You can and should deny any belief that error can hurt you. This kind of denial is not concealment but a correction. Your right mind depends on it. Denial of error is a strong defense of truth, but denial of truth results in miscreation, the projections of the ego. In the service of the right mind the denial of error frees the mind. And re-establishes the freedom of he will. When the will is really free it cannot miscreate, because it recognizes only truth.
Now here’s the transfer of training the Jesus tells us is critical to our training. With practice and application of the Course principals, apparently we ready ourselves to accept the whole change of mind~ and accept the Atonement for ourselves.
Seemingly, in the twinkling of an eye, I am now looking past conflict to the request love and my part in the miracle my love brings. My automatic response is now: How can I be helpful… I see my brothers guiltless. And see that they are my salvation. I feel my indebtedness to them as Christ and am instantly united in purpose of forgiving, blessing and saving… There is no conflict, only love is real…

I am for God. It is so simple. It is a decision for what is truly natural. There is no process to it. It is a present moment decision born out of willingness.
When the desire for otherness/specialness/me-ness has been let go, ones natural identity in God emerges as a single light of joyous identity. It is the frequency of love... Seek only the
Forgiven, the past is literally forgotten as a point of identity. It (the past) takes on the essence of remembering a dream or a movie you watched.
You know what I mean. We’ve all had miracles that have allowed us to see or remember something from an entirely opposite perspective, and with gratitude for it. Miracles heal our identity with woundology. We forget the idea of harm as we accept our invulnerability in God.
Now, is experienced as the eternal fresh moment of love’s abundance.
This is the only happiness there really is. Yes? Yes! Here’s why. God is… This is the one Reality that unveils joy and laughter and peace, impervious certainty and imperturbability. It is the experience of PERFECT HAPPINESS.
I LOVE IT!
To have all this, be it. It but requires a wholehearted decision. To be as God created. In people-talk, that is love; think love, think light, look only for that everywhere. You will see what you expect to see. I know.
It takes no time at all. In fact, it is the belief in time that keeps looping us back into the dream, on the battlefield.
Here’s the trick! Rise above time and all the constructs that make the world. Rise into thoughts of God and love and light. Think of timelessness, limitlessness, changeless, eternal completion.
Check it out for yourself. It always works. If we do it, it works. This is what the Course is training us to do.
Here is the mind we share with God. Now is the Holy Spirit viable in our lives.
What happened for me is that I finally realized that what the Course says that if you don’t hear the Voice for God it is because you don’t choose to listen was true. I simply valued trying more than being. Time, more than eternity, little ‘me’ more the Grandeur of God.
Here’s the point though. That didn’t make me happy. And, after all aren’t we all (ignorant to it though we may be) just trying to be happy? Isn’t that the end game?
The only thing that has ever given me true happiness is God.
I accepted the Atonement for myself. Period. That is the end game of this world.
The idea of God rises us up. It is a joining in the most simple of terms.
Here is where I live. It is where I was created and what I was created as. I am as God created me.
I am the energy of love extended and extending naturally. I am only light. I am pure Spirit. These thoughts lift the mind into its creative agreement with God.
Naturally, all one wants to do now is shine that recognition forth. Here is where we see that our brothers give us the chance to give the gift of miracles. We get to be helpful through the Holy Spirit and save the world. Gratitude abounds...
We are Christ. And we are not alone...

I am a professional.
Atonement is my profession. It comes naturally. Once the desire for specialness has been abated, the communication that is creation is free to take its place. Or rather, to flow unimpeded.
Here’s my job; I accept the atonement for myself. Here’s how I do that. I am simply unwilling to see error in anyone including myself. Here’s where I join with Jesus. It’s a correction crusade. And it rocks! ~You can join~
By refusing to see error, a whole new world opens up before me. Everyone I see is like my favorite long lost aunt that I can't wait to catch-up with. So I treat these encounters with a level of respect and open-hearted acceptance that l learned from Jesus and how he has refused to accept my little opinion of myself, but rather relating to the magnitude in me. This is what I extend.
I teach only what I want to learn, so I teach only the love that I am and you are.
I see miracles happening everywhere. Where I used to see conflict between brothers, I now see the call for love and the opportunity for a miracle. I look to the spark of light within each brother and join them there, blazing the light with healing love… My holiness blesses them.
Whether or not they recognize this act of love is not my concern, healing my mind through seeing their innocence which is my own, is…. Forgiveness happens… “A miracle is a universal blessing from God through me to all my brothers. It is the privilege of the forgiven to forgive.”
I hung out in confusion for a long time; waiting for some miraculous event that would restore me to sanity. I studied the Course, prayed, meditated, did the lessons… But I still measured Heaven from a definition that placed it outside myself. Something that would happen “to” me once I was ‘good’ enough... It's all good...
Obviously, I didn’t see the trap this was; looping me back into the separation construct.
Till I did. I decided for happiness, truth, love, the peace of God.
Here’s the thing. Up till then, because I didn’t want to be in denial or be wearing rose-colored glasses, I kept reinforcing the belief in error by continuing to see it, judge my progress by it, then forgive.
Yes, I found relief. Yes, I felt better. However, I was making error real by claiming it, then forgiving... That is not looking past the error in acceptance of its falseness. .
See the conflict?
That’s a split mind. The Course is accepted completely, or not at all. It says if we aren’t experiencing constant joy, we have not decided for happiness, because happiness is a state of constancy.
I took Jesus as my coach.
He told me, “Deny the denial of truth”. He said, “Recognize your errors and choose to abandon them and follow my guidance.”
There! Clear as day! Recognize my errors and choose to abandon them and follow Him…
I finally listened. I abandon error in favor of truth.
“Forgiveness recognizes that what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. It does not pardon sins and make them real. It sees there was no sin. And in that view, are all your sins forgiven… Forgiveness merely sees its falsity, and therefore lets it go. What then is free to take its place is now the Will of God.”
I was coached in-spirit to be happy and that joy was a better environment for learning than pain. I was already totally familiar with the contrast, I don't need any more lessons through pain. When I am dis-heartened or dis-spirited I have suspended my usefulness until I change my mind and Think with the Joy of Love.
Ya know, when you accept the Atonement as your profession. And you take the oath of office as a miracle worker, there are certain guidelines you follow.
“Spirit is in a state of grace forever.
Your reality is only spirit.
Therefore you are in a state of grace forever.”

The truth is present now. It resides at the frequency of God. Our holiness or wholeness is the center of creation radiating inclusion in completion. In other words, it is the frequency of light, of love, of creation.
You can’t search for it. You are it. There is no holiness outside yourself, because there is nothing outside of you. There is nothing excluded in your holiness, because holiness by definition is inclusion.
This is God. He leaves nothing out.
Exclusion is the ego’s game. It is a very dense frequency and uses the body to prove its validity. If the mind is trapping itself in the space/time continuum; looking at the world from a past/future, me and others perspective, then the mind is identified with the ego identity.
But you are not the ego. You are Christ. And there is nothing your holiness cannot do.
So here’s the groovy part about holiness; it includes everything equally and perfectly.
What I have come to realize is that it is my frequency that needs attention. And it is actually very simple to shift to a higher frequency.
Think of God.
Think love.
Think oneness~wholeness~holiness.
Think peace.
Smile.
Forgive.
Be still and listen.
Laugh.
Hug.
Apply any Course lesson to anything.
Read poetry.
Pray.
Be grateful.
Okay, if you did as instructed you should be feeling light and happy.
This is what the mind-training of A Course in Miracles does for us.
We begin to vibrate at the frequency of peace. Even the slightest disturbance to our peace of mind, is quickly given over in forgiveness in the name of wholeness or our holiness.
All of creation is happening simultaneously. What we experience is in direct relation to our relationship with God.
When we are tuned to the frequency of our holiness, we literally see and hear our oneness in all our conversations and encounters. Every encounter is experienced as holy and it totally makes sense.
My holiness is my gift. I keep the light on and the love frequency signal strong.
This is the only conversation to have and the only place to be.
